This Privacy Policy describes how Axon ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the Axon app and website.
Account information. Axon uses Sign in with Apple to create your account. We receive a unique Apple user identifier and an email address (which may be an Apple private-relay address). You may optionally provide a display name/username and a contact email.
Learning activity. When you use the app we store your learning progress — lessons and projects completed, achievements, streaks, experience points (XP), and unlocked items — linked to your account so we can sync it across your devices and restore it if you reinstall.
Subscription and purchase data. If you subscribe to Axon Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and validate your purchase, and we store your subscription status (active/expired) linked to your account. We never receive or store your payment card details — those are handled solely by Apple.
Usage and analytics data. We use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. This includes events such as lessons started and completed, exercises answered, screens and paywalls viewed, and in-app purchase activity, together with device and app information (device model, operating system, app version, language, and region) and a pseudonymous identifier linked to your account. PostHog also derives an approximate location (such as city or country) from your IP address. This information is processed on PostHog's servers in the United States and is used only to operate and improve Axon.
We do not use third-party advertising, we do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising purposes.
If you choose a username, your username and XP may be displayed publicly on in-app leaderboards alongside other learners. Do not use a username you wish to keep private.
We use your information to operate the app: to authenticate you, save and sync your progress, provide subscription features, display leaderboards, and improve the product. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers below.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing us at contact@axonlearn.app. Deleting your account permanently removes your progress and profile.
Axon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post changes on this page with an updated date.
